Air Pollution Control
Integrated Air Pollution Solutions
Custom-Engineered Emission Control
Air pollution has slow-moving but dangerous effects on both people and the environment. True to our name, AirClean is committed to protecting and preserving our natural environment. In addition, emission levels in many jurisdictions must meet strict regulatory requirements. AirClean is prepared to help you find the right solution for your air pollution control system.
Air pollution control systems should be designed and engineered specifically for the system and the emissions involved. Emissions are site specific and highly dependent upon the fuel being burned and the combustion system used.
Performance Guarantee and Emissions Guarantee
AirClean Energy offers comprehensive knowledge and capabilities in developing integrated air pollution control systems for new installations and existing systems. Your project is supported by engineers who are experts in industrial air pollution control applications, from concept to completion. We are fully qualified to provide both the performance guarantee and emissions guarantee, so you can be assured your system remains compliant and productive.
Baghouses
These dust collectors are ideal when you need to remove dry particles from an airstream. The dirty air enters the side of the baghouse and the dust is filtered out by bag filters or pleated cartridge filters. The material and style of the filter depend on the dust being collected. Baghouses are supplied with pulse jets, which periodically release a blast of compressed air in the reverse direction through the filters to knock dust off the filters and improve filter life.
Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP)
Electrostatic Precipitators extract fine particulate matter, such as dust and smoke, from flowing gas streams using electrical energy. By applying a high-voltage electrical charge to the particles and collecting them on oppositely charged plates, ESP systems maintain high collection efficiencies with minimal pressure drop across high-volume industrial gas streams.
Thermal Oxidizers
Thermal Oxidizers destroy Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs), and industrial odors by raising the exhaust air to high temperatures. Through controlled thermal combustion, pollutants are decomposed into carbon dioxide and water vapor before being safely discharged into the atmosphere.
Wet Scrubbers
Wet Scrubbers remove acid gases, chemical vapors, and soluble particulates by contacting the exhaust gas with a scrubbing liquid. Through physical absorption or chemical reaction, contaminants are effectively collected in the liquid stream, providing high collection efficiency for corrosive or high-moisture air emissions.
Cyclones
Mechanical Cyclone collectors utilize centrifugal force to separate large, coarse particles from gas streams without internal moving parts or filtration media. Often installed as pre-cleaners upstream of baghouses or scrubbers, cyclones reduce high dust loadings and protect downstream equipment from excessive wear.
